A Bookish Choice
A literary-minded witch gives you a choice: with a flick of the wand, you can become either an obscure novelist whose work will be admired and studied by a select few for decades, or a popular paperback author whose books give pleasure to millions. Which do you choose?
I think that both appeal for different reasons. It would also depend I think on life stage. Given my life stage right now, I think I would prefer popularity. Simply because it would afford one the freedom to choose a quality of life and an ability to give back, as a result of this quality of life, which would be very meaningful. So with the second choice one is afforded likewise more choices and a greater ability to give.
