Secret Admirers – To Put off a Predator – Kind of Creepy
You return home to discover a huge flower bouquet waiting for you, no card attached. Who is it from — and why did they send it to you?
Here’s a scenario for a strategy 1. You’re in an office. Your direct Manager is a predator. He has considerable influence in the organisation and the area and field in which you work. Your HR Department is unlikely to take action, even if you complain. He abuses the master slave relationship of boss employee. He stands too close, makes unseemly suggestions, lingers in your doorway, gazes with large eyes at you as you work, touches you uninvited. So here’s a possibility. You could send yourself that bouquet, to the office, from a so called partner, in an attempt to put off the predator. However, given the nature of predators this may not work. On to strategy 2. My suggestion would be to get the hell out of there.
Or, you are friendly with someone of the opposite sex. You have a lot in common, you have raving and interesting discussions. For some reason, even though you have not shown any interest in him as a possible partner, he takes your friendliness as a sign and starts making moves on you. Unfortunately, some guys just don’t get it and it has been the demise of many a friendship. Catch a wake up guys, if a woman is interested you will KNOW!
Make yourself known or stay away. So the whole secret admirer thing nowadays, is kind of creepy.
